Working and mentoring inner city youths is not only a commitment for Ms Young, but a passion in making a difference in inspiring youths to become bigger and better citizens in society. The program under FEKS not only teaches martial arts training but also instills the core elements of Discipline, Respect, Honesty, Integrity and Loyalty.
Ms Young has recently partner with Professor DeGourville and Grandmaster Sam Sherman in developing YRUMAD, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which will focus on diverse set of youth programs in assisting each child in transitioning smoothly into society from the foster care homes and the juvenile system. Our mission is very clear, inspiring MAD youths to become GRAD youths one child at a time.
